Courtney Browning. Courtney has been a fixture in the soccer community as a player since she learned how to walk. Her dedication to the advancement of girl's soccer earned her the prestigious Chralotte Moran Scholarship Award in 2015. Her referee career began in 2010 in the Camp Hill Smurf Soccer Program. She became a US Soccer referee in 2013 and has since worked her way up the ranks to formal state cup matches in 2016. She is a graduate of Camp Hill High School where she was an honors student all four years. Courtney was also a school representative for the youth advisory board for Cumberland Perry Drug and Alcohol Prevention. She has just begun her collegiate career at Kutztown University where she is a member of the women's soccer team.
Michael Grello. Currently a grade 7 US Soccer referee, Michael started officiating in 2012 as a grade 9 working recreational league games. He has attended the Region 1 President's Cup (2016), ODP (2015 and 2016), and ODP Finals (2016) tournaments. He was also the center referee for the WPSL Regional Final this past July. Michael is a 2015 graduate of West Chester East High School where he was inducted into both the Italian and Business National Honor Societies. He was also a member of DECA all four years while in high school and is currently a Sophomore at West Chester University studying marketing.
Michael is known as a pillar in his community as he is always ready, willing, and able to volunteer his services for a variety of causes. He is also a leader within the EPA mentor group and embraces the opportunity to help the newer and less experienced referees.
Assessment Fees for Grades 6, 7 and those looking to upgrade
Assessment fee of $65 is due and payable to EPSARC by March 31. Mail check and include your name, USSF ID, and letter of intent to upgrade or maintain to: Robert Ong, 6 Colonial Circle, East Norriton, PA 19401
Pennsylvania Child Protection Laws & Clearances apply to Referees too
As of July 1, 2015, all paid employees age 14 and older working in the state of Pennsylvania, that interact directly with children, are required to get background clearances. This must be done before the first night of an Entry Level Class, and for anyone transferring to Eastern Pennsylvania from another State Association.
